Your Role
Aishwarya Interiors is seeking an experienced mid-level Interior Designer. Your job is to combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce functionally beautiful spaces for Retail clients. You have exceptional design skills, a background in architecture or design, and a portfolio of innovative design concepts.
What You Will Do
- Perform interior design assignments that include interpreting client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning, customer journey mapping and construction documentation
- Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, fixtures, finish palettes, and lighting
- Generate floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, finish plans, elevations, details, specifications, and material selections needed for construction
- Design and detail retail fixtures
- Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts
- Work with external consultants, product representatives, and fabricators
- Collaborate with our retail strategists, brand and digital experience designers to create holistic design solutions
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, BArch or related field from an accredited school
- Certified Interior Designer from reputed design school.
- 2-5 years of interior design experience
- Proficient in Trimble SketchUp, and other computer design programs (CAD, VRAY, etc...)
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop)
- Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
- Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas
